Authorities say an hour-long standoff last week between a suspect and officers in Otter Tail County ended without incident.

According to a report, a conservation officer found a vehicle that had rolled over in the ditch near Co. Hwy. 37 and Bankers Drive south of Dalton in Otter Tail County.

The officer reportedly attempted to assist the car's occupant, Derrick Sundeen, 38, of Dalton.  However, Sundeen was armed and fired in the direction of the officer.

He was finally apprehended. Sundeen is being held on charges of attempted murder, first and second degree assault and driving while intoxicated.

Authorities say Sundeen suffered only minor injuries in the crash.
