Authorities in Redwood County say that 11 people have been injured in a chain-reaction crash.

The crash took place in a work zone on Highway 71 south of Redwood Falls.

Authorities say that three vehicles were all northbound when they stopped for a MNDOT flagger. A fourth vehicle was slowing when it was rear ended by a semi, causing all the vehicle to collide.

Authorities say that 10 of the victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries.  However, one of the drivers, Mary Ann Olson, 92, of Redwood Falls, was airlifted to North Memorial Hospital with life threatening injuries.

The driver of the semi, Jay Klabunde, 53, of Windom, was not injured in the crash.
