The Minnesota Wild finished the regular season with a 7-3 loss to the St. Louis Blues on Thursday night on the road.

The Wild jump out to a 3-0 lead, but the Blues scored seven straight goals to get the win.

Kappo Kahkonen was in the net for the Wild and made 20 saves. He finished the season with a Wild rookie-record 16 wins.

The Wild will kick-off the NHL playoffs with a best of seven series in round one on Sunday against the Golden Knights on the road.  Game two will be Tuesday in Vegas, and then game three will be in Minnesota on Thursday night at the X.
