The NFL Draft kicked-off on Thursday night and the Minnesota Vikings drafted Virginia Tech tackle Christian Darrisaw with the No. 23 pick after trading down from No. 14.

The Vikings traded the No. 14 pick in the first round and the No. 143 pick in the fourth round to the Jets for additional picks. The Vikings received two additional third-round picks in the move.

Darrisaw is listed as being 6'5" and 322 pounds.  He started 35 games for the Hokies over the past three years.  He made the All-ACC first team last season as a junior after not allowing a single sack.

He is reportedly the highest-graded power five pass-blocker in the NFL Draft (94.5).
