The Baltimore Ravens selected former University of Minnesota wide receiver Rashod Bateman with the 27th overall pick in the NFL Draft on Thursday.

Bateman was the fifth wide receiver selected in the first round.  The other were Ja'Marr Chase, Jaylen Waddle, Devonta Smith, and Kadarius Toney.

Bateman is listed as 6-feet, 190-pounds. He was named Big Ten Receiver of the Year in 2019 when he caught 60 passes for 1,219 yards and 11 touchdowns for the Gophers.
