All professional sports teams in the Twin Cities cancelled their games on Monday following an officer-involved shooting in Brooklyn Center, Minn.

The Twins were the first to announce the cancellation of their series opener with the Boston Red Sox. The game was called off about an hour before the scheduled first pitch.

The Timberwolves and Wild also announced the cancellations for their games Monday night.

The Wild's game against St. Louis has been rescheduled for May 12th.

The Timberwolves were scheduled to take on Brooklyn Nets on Monday night at the Target Center.
