The Minnesota Vikings have reportedly released two-time Pro Bowl tight end Kyle Rudolph.

Rudolph, 31, has spent the last 10-season run with the Vikings.  He is fifth in franchise history with 453 catches.  He also ranks fifth with 48 touchdown receptions.

Rudolph played college football for the University of Notre Dame. He was drafted by the Vikings in the second round, 43rd overall of the 2011 NFL Draft.

Rudolph also did good things off the field as he was the team's nominee for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award in 2017, 2018 and 2019 for community service.

The move will create a little more than $5 million in salary cap space for the Vikings.
