A fire in Fergus Falls has  caused considerable damage to a home and injured at least two residents of the home.

The initial call that came in said the fire was on the second floor of a home at 315 W. Douglas. Those in the home were able to get out safely.

Authorities say that an adult and a child both had injuries resulting from the fire. They were both taken to Lake Region Healthcare with what are believed to be critical and severe injuries. A second adult and two children were also taken to the hospital for evaluation.

The fire remains under investigation.
