The Minnesota Timberwolves will continue to be without guard D'Angelo Russell for the next several weeks.

Russel, 24, underwent arthroscopic surgery on Tuesday.  He will reportedly be out of the line-up for four-to-six weeks.

The surgery removed a "loose body" from Russell's left knee that has been bothering him recently.  His injury had previously been described as left leg soreness and had limited him to eight minutes in the past five games.

Russell has played in just 19 of the Timberwolves' 27 games so this season. He is averaging 19.3 points per game this season.
