The Minnesota Golden Gophers men’s basketball team fell to No. 5 Iowa on Sunday 86-71.

Luka Garza had 33 points for Iowa to lead both teams.  Jordan Bohannon had 19 points for the Hawkeyes.

For Minnesota, Marcus Carr and Both Gach both had 13 points in the loss.  The Gophers fall to 10-4 overall and 3-4 in the Big Ten. 

The Gophers will host Michigan on Saturday at 1 p.m at William Arena.

The Gophers upset Iowa earlier this season on Christmas Day.
