The St. Paul Saints have announced that the Minnesota Twins have signed JT Riddle to a minor-league deal.  He will also have an invitation to major league camp.

Riddle, 29, played last season with the Pittsburgh Pirates where he hit just .149 in 67 at bats with one home run.  Riddle has played mostly at shortstop but can play at other positions in the infield and the outfield. In 246 major league games, he has a .222 batting average with 19 home runs in 787 plate appearances.

It was announced back in November that the Saints would become the Twins’ new AAA affiliate.
