The No. 16 ranked Golden Gophers men’s basketball team took on No. 10 ranked Michigan Wolverines on Wednesday night and the Wolverines beat the Gophers 82-59.

The Gophers trailed at half-time 32-26, but the Wolverines turned it on in the second half scoring 50 points and holding the Gophers to just 31 points.

Marcus Carr had 14 points to lead the Gophers.  Gabe Kalscheur had 9 points in the loss.

For Michigan, Hunter Dickinson had 28 points to lead both teams in scoring.  He also had eight rebounds.

The Gophers fall to 10-3 overall while Michigan improves to 10-0.

The Gophers will take on No. 5 Iowa this Sunday at 1:30 p.m. on the road.
