The Minnesota Legislature will convene for its 2021 regular session beginning Tuesday.

The House will meet via Zoom until further notice because of the pandemic. The Senate will reportedly try a hybrid approach. Officials say the Capitol will remain surrounded by riot fencing.

Meanwhile, officials say with the Capitol will be closed to the public, and that phone calls, emails, and online meetings will replace most face-to-face work.

The session is scheduled to end May 17
