The Minnesota Vikings closed-out the season on Sunday with a win over the Detroit Lions on the road 37-35.

It wasn't a pretty win for Minnesota, but they got the job done in the end.  Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins threw for 405 yards and three touchdowns in the win.

Meanwhile, rookie wide receiver Justin Jefferson had nine times for 133 yard. He broke Randy Moss' team rookie record for receiving yards and finished with 1,400 on the season.

The Vikings were without star running back Dalvin Cook.  In his place, Alexander Mattison rushed 21 times for 95 yards.

Despite the win, the Vikings defense gave up 417 yards for an average of 7.7 yards per play.  Minnesota's defense gave up 35 points in this game after giving up 52 points the previous week to the Saints.

The Vikings will look to the draft to fill-in some holes on defense and on their offensive line.
