Due to the coronavirus, many local governments are closing their buildings.

In Stearns County, officials have closed its license centers and the Treasurer's Office.

In Crow Wing County, Brainerd and Crosby are among the local governments tjere shutting their doors to the public.  Officials say they will continuing to offer services online and over the phone.

In Benton County, officials have closed public access to the Human Services facilities in Foley and East St. Cloud.

Officials say the reason for the closing of the facilities are that the buildings do not allow for proper social distancing practices recommended by the CDC and Minnesota Department of Health.

In Douglas County, officials will be closing the  library to the public starting Friday.
