A man from central Minnesota wanted on multiple charges has been arrested and taken into custody.

He was arrested on Friday morning after an extensive search in rural Morrison County.

The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office says they were contacted by the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office and advised to be on the lookout for a Blue Dodge Durango occupied by a man and woman. Stearns County officials said the man had multiple warrants out for his arrest.

A Morrison County officer located the Durango on Thursday afternoon n 90th Avenue near 60th Street in Elmdale. The suspect reportedly fled, driving through cornfields before eventually getting stuck in a swamp.  A man and a woman reportedly fled on foot.

After a five-hour search, the suspects were not found.

On Friday, the man along with woman were immediately apprehended.  At last check he was being held in the Morrison County Jail.
