Two people have been injured in a two-car crash in Mahnomen County.

The crash took place on Highway 113 west of Waubun. According to the report, a 2003 Chevy Malibu was heading eastbound on Highway 113 west of Waubun. There was a 1987 Pontiac Bonneville stalled, with no lights on, on Highway 113, with the driver standing in front of the vehicle under the hood. The Malibu was unable to stop in time and caused the crash.


The driver of the Bonneville, Katelyn Bueng, 26, of Mahnomen, was taken to Mahnomen Health with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Malibu, Nakoya Keezer, 42, of Twin Valley, was taken to Essentia Health St. Mary’s with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities say the passenger in the Malibu was not injured.  That crash remains under investigation.
