The NHL draft took place on Tuesday night and the Minnesota Wild have added a center to their lineup.

The Wild selected Marco Rossi with the ninth overall pick.  The draft was done virtually this year due to COVID-19.

Rossi is reportedly one of the top center prospects in this year's class.  Analysts say he is a scoring threat and he can hold his own on the defensive end. The 19-year-old starred for the Ottawa 67's.  He had 120 points (39 G, 81 A) last season.  He stands 5-foot-9 and weighs 187 pounds.

Rossi could fill a big void on the Wild's roster as they've been looking for depth at center throughout the offseason.
