Late last week, Governor Tim Walz and the Department of Education released their guidance for the new school year.

Each Minnesota school district will decide, how they will begin the upcoming school year. Whether they start the year with in-person, distance-learning, or the “hybrid model” which is a combination of the two will be decided locally with some guidance by the Walz administration.

Most school districts are expected to meet with their school boards and they are expected to release their decision on the upcoming school year this week.
