If you are a St. John’s University football fan, it will be a quiet fall as there will be no Johnnie football  this fall.

The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) has announced that it will postpone the Fall 2020 seasons in football, cross country, soccer and volleyball due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, the MIAC says that men's and women's golf and tennis will be allowed to compete against conference opponents only this fall.

The conference is working to develop a spring schedule.

The Johnnies and the Thommies were going to compete one last time this fall before the Thommies move to Division 1 football in 2021, however, that game will not take place now this fall.

St. John's University and the College of St. Benedict are both members of the MIAC.
