Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz said last week that there is a chance that professional sports could return to Minnesota this summer.

Walz says that sports are an “important part of who Minnesota is, and (he) thinks just like all these businesses, if there’s a plan to do it,” he belives sports could return.

Since all leagues suspended play back in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they have been trying to find a safe solution to bring back sports as "Stay at Home" orders have relaxed across the country.

Florida and Arizona are two of the states that have allowed professional sports to return and New York and Texas have also hinted they could be next. However, no state is talking about putting fans in the seats as of yet.

In Minnesota, we could see the return of the Minnesota Wild and Minnesota Twins if restrictions are loosened by the governor.
