(Stearns County, MN)--The Stearns County Sheriff's Office received a call of a two-vehicle crash with injuries in St. Wendel Township late last week. Upon arrival at the scene, it was learned that a 2007 Chrysler van driven by Stacey Feltus, 50, of Albany, had been traveling northbound on County Road 3, while a 2014 Chrysler van driven by Michael Mergen, 64, of Albany, had been traveling westbound on 355th Street. Mergen then attempted to make a left-hand turn onto County Road 3. It was determined that Mergen failed to yield causing the crash. Mergen was injured in the crash and taken to St Cloud Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Two passengers in his vehicle were not injured. The crash remains under investigation.
