(Chippewa County, MN)--Aman from west central Minnesota has been killed in a crash. In addition, three family members were also injured in a head-on crash on Sunday. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash took place on Hwy. 59 in Chippewa County. A Chevy Silverado, Curtis Dean Olson, 35 of Appleton, was traveling southbound on Highway 59 when he crashed into a Jeep Commander that was heading northbound. Olson was reportedly pronounced dead at the scene. Three passengers in the Silverado were all taken via Life Link helicopter to Appleton Area Health. A 29-year-old woman suffered life-threatening injuries, while two teenage boys suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Jeep also suffered non-life-threatening injuries. She reportedly didn't seek further medical evaluation at a hospital. The crash remains under investigation.
