(Undated)--WalletHub says that Minnesota is the state with the highest credit score in the nation. They say that the average credit score in the U.S. is 695. The personal-finance website analyzed the average credit scores of residents in all 50 states and just released its report on 2022's States with the Highest & Lowest Credit Scores.

The average credit score in Minnesota is 724, which ranks highest in the U.S.  Number two New Hampshire followed by Vermont, Massachusetts, and South Dakota.

The lowest score came from the state of Mississippi.
