(Falcon Heights, MN)--A shooting at the Minnesota State Fair on Saturday night is being investigated.  Officials say the shooting took place around 10:00 p.m. near the north entrance to the Midway.  A large group of kids were reportedly fighting at the time.  A single shot was fired in the incident.

Officials say the shot was fired with dozens of law enforcement officers within 15 to 20 feet of the group where the shooting took place. One victim was taken to Regions Hospital with a non-life injuries. Officials believe he was the target of the shooting.

Law enforcement was stepped up following the shooting.
