On Tuesday the area experienced not only high temperatures but dewpoints in the low to mid 70s.  Humidity levels were in the 50% to 60% range, making it feel five to ten degrees warmer.

Madison hit 95 degrees but it felt more like 107, Ortonville was a steamy 93 but the heat index was 102.  Meanwhile, Alexandria was a cooler 91 but the heat index made it feel more like 101.

Granite Falls recorded a high of 95 degrees but the dew point climbed to 78 degrees with a heat index of 111.  Hutchinson had a heat index of 114 degrees.

Another round of hot temperatures are expected again for Friday.
